Every Christian needs a spiritual family. We all need a place where we can really know others and be known by others. We need a family where we are cared for, nurtured, challenged, guided and prayed for; where we can ask questions and share struggles.

We all need a laboratory for life. There are over 50 “one anothers” in the Bible. We are challenged in Scripture to love one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, and stimulate one another to love and good deeds. The small group provides a place and a family where the “one anothers” can be lived out.

We all need to see what biblical community looks like and we all need to be connected in this way. Small groups are where we have a safe place to honestly share our life struggles. And we have the opportunity to study God’s Word and discuss how it practically applies to our life.
